My passion as a certified dog trainer has been focused on developing happy, well-socialized, obedient puppies.
Through the span of my career, thousands of puppies have received personal attention and achieved success through my group classes, online courses, and puppy socials. When the pandemic hit, I seized the opportunity to create a new type of curriculum, one that would encompass all needs, ranging from before the puppy comes home well into adolescence. That class was Puppy Love in the Time of Corona. Since then, hundreds of families from Toronto to Atlanta, Manhattan to Kona, have flourished with their new “pandemic puppies.” As the world starts to open up, this curriculum has evolved once again. I’m very proud to offer this program.
AN IN-PERSON GROUP CLASS TO TEACH YOUR PUPPY THE BASICS AND MORE

Puppy Love: Foundational Obedience Training for Puppies is an in-person group class that acts as a wonderful starting point to teach our puppies the foundations of obedience, impulse control, and manners.
Puppy play and socialization strategies are incorporated into every class.
This is the puppy class of champions for Sit, Stay, Come, Watch Me, Leave It, Wait, Sit to Greet, and more.
Aimee Porter has endowed my family and I with so many creative suggestions for raising a puppy... She has a hilarious sense of humor and many practical tips for how to socialize your puppy well, train them basic obedience commands, and keep them occupied with a kong.
Bringing a puppy into your home is a joyful and life-changing event.
It also tends to be an anxiety-inducing “crazy maker.” In fact, at some point, you’re bound to wonder, “What have I done? How can I do this? Am I ruining my puppy?” Fortunately, this is TOTALLY NORMAL, so try to relax by preparing yourself as best you can.
These online sessions are for puppy owners just before—or right after—the puppy comes home.
Owners will learn how to safely socialize their puppy as well as successfully negotiate crate, sleep, potty, and alone-time training for the first weeks that the puppy comes.
These sessions also address your home setup for proper confinement strategies, body handling, as well as typical puppy behaviors like biting, jumping, and zoomies. Set yourself up for success and unlock your puppy’s ultimate potential

If your puppy has graduated from the Puppy Love Foundational Obedience or equivalent Puppy One and Intermediate classes, and you are ready to enjoy a life out and about with your puppy, it’s time to teach your pup about real life, where there are places to go other than puppy classes and socials and so many distractions and exciting scenarios awaiting them and putting their training to the test
